Treasure Island Beach Guide
“The White Sand Paradise” of the Gulf
The Bayside Inn & Marina is located in Treasure Island, Florida. Treasure Island is recognized worldwide for its wide white sand beaches, spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico, and friendly locals. We are ideally situated – away from it all, yet close to everything a traveller could want. Nearby are Sunset Beach, St. Pete Beach, Boca Ciega Bay, John’s Pass and an endless variety of things to see and do.
Sit back, relax and take in the sights from The Bayside Inn & Marina. Dolphins, manatees and a host of sea birds are frequently seen frolicking by our marina. Fishing both in the bay and on the beach can be fantastic, with tarpon, snook, trout, redfish, flounder and many more species available. Adventure awaits offshore in the form of giant grouper, many different species of snapper, and seasonal kingfish.
The fine, soft white sands of the beach are perfect for taking a stroll, and the calm Gulf of Mexico waters are inviting. Crowds frequently gather at sunset, looking for the elusive ‘Green Flash” that sometimes appears the moment the sun dips below the horizon over the Gulf.
If you’ve arrived by boat, you’ll find an endless variety of places to explore, form broad grass flats to mangrove shorelines to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Enjoy a wide variety of local shops featuring artisans, crafts, and souvenirs. Restaurants abound, from local beachfront watering holes to fine dining, and pretty much everything in between. Activities range from pirate ship cruises, to golf courses, museums, theater, festivals, nature preserves and much more.
